Here's our recipe for Family Home Evening cookies. They are great for FHE because they are made from ingredients that you usually have on hand, are super quick to make, and are loved by all. I guess if you always planned ahead and never needed a last-minute FHE treat recipe you can ignore this. But here it is for the rest of us:
Family Home Evening Cookies
1 chocolate cake mix
1/4 cup oil
2 eggs
4 tsp. milk
powdered sugar
Mix first 4 ingredients together. Roll dough into balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Flatten a little before baking. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

Thank you! These look like the easy version of chocolate crinkles which I never make because you're supposed to chill the dough for 3-4 hours before you roll them into balls. Who plans cookies ahead 3-4 hours?
