Bug Hunters

Trevor and I went bug hunting last night in our backyard. I carried a really bright LED flashlight and a blacklight while Trevor carried the commercial strength bug spray and a hockey stick. It was a successful hunt.
We found 5 of these:

and 8 of these:

Die, savage beasts, die.

Better outside than in, don't you agree?

Ok, that TOTALLY Freaks me out. Have I ever told you about my spider phobia? I always fear that a spider is going to jump on my face and eat me. I would rather face a lion than a spider!!!

Yes totally agree, and this is the desert, so....AHHHHHHHHHHH! Aren't there no poisonous bugs in Hawaii, or something like that? I guess they have it so rough over there. There would have to be something good about it.

Ok that is just too creepy! I have always wondered how many of those we would find in our yard...and I am still a bit too scared to try and find out. That is why we pay the bug man every month and sure as heck hope he is doing his job!

Lisa, I love your blog, I hope it's okay that I found it! And by the way, if bug hunging is what I have to look forward to with boys (and I'm afraid it is) I'll die! I hate bugs... I'm in denial they are out there!
