Today is our 15th wedding anniversary. It sounds cliche to say "my how time flies" but it seriously does. I look back on 15 years of marriage and don't feel like I'm old enough to have been married that long but when I think of all that has gone on it really has been a long time. It is so amazing how your perspective on love changes. I was totally in love with Trevor when we got married, I mean totally! And yet it amazes me how much more in love I am with him as each year goes by. It's almost as if I can't imagine loving him any more than I do right now yet I know that next year I will. What an amazing emotion! I know that it is a product of all the things that we have experienced together...good and bad. Schooling, lots and lots of school, first 7 years for Trevor and now many more years for our children, new jobs and lost jobs, new houses and house projects, new cars (new to us anyway!) and broken cars, paid bills and unpaid bills and late bills, broken backs and broken ankles, sick children and happy children, visits to the hospital and visits to our kitchen table for stitches, father's blessings, baby blessings, baptisms and confirmations, ordinations, new babies and lost babies, church callings we love to do and those we do, vacations out of town and get aways in town, old friends and new friends. Yes, a lot can happen in 15 years. I'm so grateful that it all did happen and the greatest thing is that I got to spend every moment of it with my best friend and the love of my life. I look forward to every moment that we will spend together in the future.

Holy Cow! Amazing how time flies. I was just reminiscing about past boyfriends with someone the other day, the one who married one of my best friends from high school, and one who married someone my husband dated in high school. Funny how life got intertwined like that. I have to say that Trevor really lucked out getting you, but Lisa, you really lucked out too. I'm glad that you were both such good friends to me in high school and even now. Congratulations!!
Look at that dang cute couple!!! How fun to look back and yes see how far you have come. You guys are such a great example of love and a happily married couple. I love to watch you guys, especially as you have taken care of one another over the last several months. It's great how you love your hubbie more and more as the years go by...that is the way it should be. I have been married a few years less than you, but I totally agree with the concept and feel the same way. Thanks for being such a great couple and a big Happy Anniversary!
Thanks for sharing those fun pictures. Trent and I just celebrated 6 yrs and we feel like it has flown by. I can't imagine what you must feel like! Congratulations!
