Aubrey the Comedian (I think!)

So Aubrey has decided that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Not a surprise to anyone who knows her well. Now she has decided that she wants to be a preschool teacher like me. Her favorite place to play is in my preschool room and she goes in and writes math problems on the board and has papers passed out to imaginary students sitting at the tables. Well yesterday was preschool graduation for my preschoolers so we're done for the summer. I walked (oh yeah, I didn't walk-- I scooted) into the preschool room and she had this message written in huge letters across the whole whiteboard in red ink--

"Dear Preschool Kids--- SCHOOL IS OVER. GO HOME AND STAY THERE AND NEVER COME BACK!"

A little out of character for Aubrey, don't you think?? I busted up laughing! I'm pretty sure she was just being funny but then I wondered if maybe she has pent up hostilities about me teaching preschool or having other kids in our home so much or maybe I'm not paying enough attention to her, or AAAGGGHHH! So we won't be mentioning this to any child psychologists and if any preschool parents or future preschool parents read this, I'm sure it's not a problem. :) Seriously, just a funny thing to write. She thought that she was quite the comedian and laughed about it all day! She would just start laughing sponteously and I would ask her what was so funny and she would say that she was just remembering what she had written on the board. It's hilarious to see your kids start to develop a sense of humor. Maybe she has a few issues to work through if she does end up deciding to be a teacher but we have plenty of time for that!:)
