Tuesday's Terrific Tip-- THE BOX

We have a box that we keep in a pretty central place downstairs. (I bought a nicer one because I knew it would be center-stage for awhile.) Whenever I pick up something that belongs to one of my children it goes in THE BOX. Later when they are looking for something, I refer them to THE BOX. On Saturdays, it is their job to clean out THE BOX. Whatever is left in THE BOX I have permission to get rid of. I really love THE BOX. It keeps things tidy because I don't have to look at their stuff while I wait for them to put it away. It also keeps me out of the scope of resposibility for their stuff. I can always defer to THE BOX. Hooray for THE BOX!
