The big news around here this week is that Mr. E finally got his cast off! He has been counting down the days. Kids are funny. They always talk about how it would be so cool to have a cast. In fact, on the drive home from the ER the night that he broke his arm, Mr. E said that he was excited to go home and have everyone "crowd around" him. I could tell that he was looking forward to the attention that would come his way because he had broken his arm. That excitement wore off rather quickly when he woke up the next morning after a very sleepless night and told me that he didn't think having a broken arm was going to be fun anymore. Nope, it was no fun at all. He ended up needing surgery to put a pin through the bone and I think we added up 5 different casts through the whole deal. And this kid is an expert at xrays. By the time we had his last set he could practically position his arm by himself.
And yes, we're keeping the trampoline. We're still debating whether or not to put the net around it. When you have older kids and younger kids, it's hard to keep everyone happy. Honestly, some days I feel like wrapping everyone in bubble wrap before sending them on their way!

My kids would LOVE to be wrapped up in bubble wrap! They seriously can not resist popping it whenever they happen to see it. I do know what you mean.
Mr E. is darling!
I remember wanting a cast too until I actually got one. I wanted braces and head gear too, but never did get those.
